TAKLEE GENESIS

After resigning from the scientific organizations and hearing that her mother was sent to the hospital, Fang, a middle-aged woman, returns to her hometown ‘Don Hai’ with her daughter. This arrival brings back her bad memory when her father tried to cancel the ceremony in the village, and she has been blamed for being his daughter ever since. With the help of her friend, Fang becomes a teacher at the same school as her daughter. She realizes that everything in her small town stays the same. People still believe in supernatural things and non-sense rituals. Fang tries to educate her students by giving them modern scientific knowledge, but no one listens to her. Instead, they start to complain about her return. Fang still firmly believes that science can prove that superstitions are unreal. But then found that her mentally ill mother could contact her long-lost father by using VR radio. She finds the origin of the signal and is somehow aware that the supernatural things could be real, and this town has some spiritual secret linking to her long-gone father.
